Description | A growing number of institutions – including UNIL – now ask for a "teaching philosophy statement" during their recruitment process. But what does this document look like? What are the criteria to assess the quality of such a personal work? This workshop will help you to explicit the values and personal convictions underlying your teaching. Based on your teaching experience, knowledge and beliefs, as well as more concrete tools such as the results of students' evaluations of your teaching, you will be accompanied through the whole process, from self-awareness and reflection, to the first draft of your teaching philosophy statement.
